Tammie Gelis has been walking in the prophetic since the age of 16 and ministering prophetically for the last fifteen years. Her heart is to see the hurting and wounded in the body of Christ healed, made whole and walking in the fullness of their calling. She has a special burden for pastors, to see them ministered to, refreshed and renewed, and avoiding burnout! God has just recently provided a piece of property with which she is establishing a Christian Retreat in Washington State that will provide a place for christians in general but especially for pastors to receive a fresh touch from the Lord. May "Grace Haven" as it is called, be a true expression of the heart and will of God toward His people.
Many have "met" Tammie through her prophetic ministry online, whether its been teaching with "Firestorm", her short stints of moderating the "Godspeak International Prophetic chat room" or being on the receiving end of vivid words of prophecy in Prophetic chat rooms. She has ministered prophetically in Women's Ministries and Pastor's meetings . Those of us who know her, know that she is a ready voice to speak on behalf of the Lord no matter where she may be. Whether it be in a restaurant, while playing a game of chess, or in receiving a guest at her home, her down to earth manner invites openess and response.
Grace has been a hallmark of her ministry, perhaps because she has needed it so much in her own life. Growing up in a foster family, and undergoing many trials even at a young age, has shaped her spirit to the redeeming truths of God's grace in our lives. Having had to deal with unforgiveness, bitterness and hardship in her own life has given her compassion for others struggling with the same.
